The Mission
We believe that the Kingdom of God is expressed wherever Jesus rules and reigns. His Presence is central to our faith and Christian life. We believe in the present power of God to heal the sick, to cast out demons, and to enable us to live like Jesus did on the Earth. As a people, we are committed to the Word of God and to the Presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst. We endeavor to be an authentic people living in obedience to God and honoring one another in a community of mercy.

The Vision
The vision of this house is to gather a worshiping army whose greatest desire is to linger in the Presence of God. They have no faith or confidence in themselves, for they are fully aware of their own weaknesses. Instead, they rejoice to be completely dependent on Father God, creator of heaven and earth. They carry within them, wherever they go, the presence and the fragrance of Christ. The desolate, the lost and the hungry are drawn, because their hearts leap within as they sense the presence of God and overwhelming love of Christ that radiates from this ragamuffin army who are the people of the Lafayette Vineyard Church.
Our Logo
The Flame represents the indwelling and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
The Cross represents the finished work of the Cross through Jesus Christ.
The encompassing Circle represents the love of the Father in whom we abide.
The five segments of the circle represent both the 5 fold ministries of the Church (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) and the 5 fold functions of the Church (Army, Family, School, Hospital, and Ministry of Mercy).
Saints, let us march forward in unity of spirit and purpose for His Kingdom, Power, and Glory
on Earth, as it is in Heaven!
